Two actors. One chain of shared movies between them. Find it before your friends do.
Here's exactly how a player solves a real connection puzzle, one hop at a time — the finished chain is below.
Every puzzle drops you a starting actor and a target. Both names are real — the path between them is yours to find.
Tom Hanks
?
Cary Elwes
Type a movie your current actor was actually in. Real filmographies only — nothing invented, nothing guessed.
Anyone billed in that movie is a valid next hop. Pick whoever you think gets you closer to the target.
Tom Hanks→
Forrest Gump
Close the loop and the clock stops. Fewer hops and a faster time push your run higher on the leaderboard.
Tom Hanks→
Forrest Gump→
Robin Wright→
The Princess Bride→
Cary Elwes
The finished chain:
One puzzle, every player, every day — with a full archive to catch up on.
Challenge a friend to the same chain. First to the target takes it.
Answer movie trivia, level up, and keep your daily streak burning.
No clock, no daily cap — a new chain the second you finish the last one.

This Privacy Policy explains how Wazaby Tech LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Actor2Actor mobile app and the actor2actor.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password, handled through our authentication provider (Amazon Cognito). If you sign in with Google or Apple instead, we receive your email address and, where you've made it available, your name from that provider. You can unlink a connected Google or Apple account at any time from your in-app profile.
As you play, we store the information that makes up your account: username, avatar, total points, level, play streak, preferred difficulty, tutorial progress, badges earned, and mission progress. We also store your game history — the puzzles you've played, hints used, guesses made, scores, and any head-to-head challenges you create or accept.
If you allow notifications, we store a device push token and your platform (iOS or Android) so we can deliver notifications like your daily puzzle reminder. Turning off notifications in your device settings stops this.
If you subscribe to Actor2Actor Plus, your purchase is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play and processed through our subscription platform, RevenueCat. We receive and store your subscription status and expiration date — we never see or store your payment card details.
We collect gameplay events — for example, when a game starts or finishes, or when a hint is used — tied to your internal account identifier, not your email. We use this to operate the Service and to run internal experiments that test new features before rolling them out broadly.
If you joined the pre-launch waitlist on actor2actor.com before the app was available, we stored the email address you provided so we could notify you at launch.
If you contact us for help, we keep a record of that conversation, including any contact information and details you share with us, so we can respond and follow up.
We use the information above to:
Your username, level, and scores are visible to other players — on leaderboards, and to whoever you challenge or race against. This is core to how the game works, not something we can turn off selectively; if you'd rather not be identifiable this way, choose a username that isn't your real name.
Beyond that, we don't sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us run Actor2Actor, and only as needed for them to do that job:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Actor2Actor or our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we'd tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We keep your account and gameplay information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, it's deactivated immediately and permanently erased 14 days later — simply signing back in during those 14 days cancels the deletion and restores full access. Once that window passes, we delete your personal information outright, except where we're required to keep it longer by law or for legitimate business purposes like fraud prevention. Aggregated, de-identified analytics we've already collected from your activity are not retroactively erased, since they no longer identify you.
You can manage notification permissions at any time from your device settings, unlink a connected Google or Apple sign-in, and delete your account — all from your in-app profile. To access or correct your personal information instead, contact us at support@wazabytech.com — we'll respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
If you're a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Actor2Actor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@wazabytech.com and we'll delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted network transport and access controls limiting who on our team can view account data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Signing in with Google or Apple, and subscribing through the App Store or Google Play, are governed by those companies' own privacy policies in addition to this one. We encourage you to review them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the effective date above, and if a change is material, we'll notify you through the app or by email before it takes effect.
Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to Wazaby Tech LLC at support@wazabytech.com.

If you signed up with Google or Apple, sign in through that provider's button instead — there's no separate Actor2Actor password to remember. Otherwise, email support@wazabytech.com from the address on your account and we'll help you regain access.
Every puzzle gives every player a first hint for free.
Open your profile and choose "Delete My Account." Your account and progress are permanently deleted 14 days later — simply sign back in before then to cancel the deletion and keep everything as it was.
